Valuation fees and turnaround
Fees start from RM250. The final fee depends on the number of pieces and their complexity, and we will confirm it with you before we begin. Your written valuation report is ready in 2 to 3 business days.

- Tell us the purpose. Insurance, resale, an estate or your records. The purpose decides which type of value we give.
- Examination at Publika. Our gemologists examine the gemstones, metal and setting of each piece. Bring any certificates or receipts you have.
- Valuation. We assess each piece against current market conditions for the type of value you need.
- Your written report. Ready in 2 to 3 business days, with the value stated in MYR.
Things to know before you book
A valuation is an opinion at a date
A valuation is our professional opinion of value on the date of the report. Gemstone and precious metal prices change, so it is worth having important pieces revalued from time to time.
A valuation is not a certificate
A valuation states what a piece is worth; it does not certify what a stone is. Because a stone's identity and treatment status affect its value, we prefer stones to have a written gemstone certificate before valuation.
Mounted stones
When a stone is set in jewellery, some measurements cannot be taken directly and weights may have to be estimated. Your report will say where this applies.
